"Be Always Sure You Are Right – Then Go Ahead."
August 9, 1946 to August 17, 2019
Larry David Todd, 73, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away on August 17, 2019.
Larry was born on August 9, 1946 to Therman and Kathleen Meadows.
After the passing of his father, Larry was adopted by his stepfather, James Todd. In March of 1983, Larry and his wife, Judith, had their only son, Jeffery.
In addition to being a dedicated husband and father, Larry served in the National Guard and became a Sergeant with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department. He also built Knightridge Kampground with his wife and mother, and founded Todd Septic Tank Service, where he continued to work side-by-side with his son after turning over the business to him in 2010.
Always there to lend a helping hand, Larry was incredibly driven, hardworking, and loyal. He loved people and sharing stories with anyone who was willing to listen. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Gary Wayne Todd. He is survived by his wife, Judith; his son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Patrícia; his brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Rhonda; and his nephew and niece, Andrew and Olivia.
(Larry’s cousin Cindy Wales Schrieber sent his application to Vicky and I asking us to approve his application as quickly as possible. We did and Cindy said he was over joyed at receiving his “Cousin Membership Card”. Larry descends from David’s Uncle Alexander Crockett. Larry’s obituary and picture has been placed with his application in the Memorial Book.) jnb
